The International S&P Conference: “Transformation of PME in the Context of Challenges to National and International Security”

On 11 November 2025, the National Defence University of Ukraine hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled: “Transformation of Professional Military Education in the Context of Challenges to National and International Security.” 

The conference was attended by representatives of leading military educational institutions, research establishments, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

The participation of international partners and experts, in particular representatives of the Royal Danish Defence College and the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), added significant value to the event. In their presentations, international speakers shared their experience in reforming professional military education systems, implementing modern educational approaches, digitalising the educational process, and integrating NATO standards. 

The conference was conducted in a hybrid format (onsite and online), ensuring broad geographical participation and fostering active professional dialogue.
