The Department of Operational Law is a structural unit of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Military History, Law, and Social Sciences, which conducts educational, methodological, scientific, and innovative activities in the interests of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The department consists of:
- head of department;
- professor of the department;
- associate professors of the department;
- senior lecturer of the department;
- lecturer of the department.
Most of them have doctoral and candidate degrees in law, academic titles of professor and associate professor, and are combatants who participated in repelling the armed aggression of the russian federation.
The Department of Operational Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Military History, Law, and Social Sciences is headed by the acting head of the department, combatant, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, and colonel of justice Roman Vahifovych Aliiev.
The main tasks of the department are:
- conducting educational activities that provide training for military specialists with the appropriate degree of higher education in their chosen specialties and specializations;
- training military specialists of the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge D “Business, Administration, Law” in the specialty D8 “Law”;
- conducting scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities in the interests of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine by conducting scientific research and ensuring the creative activity of participants in the educational process, training highly qualified scientific personnel, and using the results obtained in the educational process of the university;
- participating in the development of draft regulatory and legal acts in the areas of educational and scientific activities of the department and conducting their legal expertise;
- participating in the improvement of the material and technical base to ensure the educational activities of the department;
- participating in personal development through legal education in the spirit of respect for the Constitution of Ukraine, instilling leadership and moral values, social activity, civic position, and responsibility in participants in the educational process.
