Department of security of information resources

The Department of Security of Information Resources is training military specialists in the protection of information with limited access to obtain a full higher education and qualification "professional, officer of military management of the operational level" in the field of knowledge K "Security and Defense" with the qualification level "master's degree" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations of the state in the specialty K6 "Support of troops (forces)" specialization: "Protection of information with limited access in the troops (forces)".

The department also takes part in the training of military specialists at the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge K "Security and Defense" from the specialties K3 "National Security (by individual spheres of provision and types of activity)" (strategic level of military education), K5 "Military Management (by types of armed forces)", and K6 "Support of troops (forces)" (operational level of military education), and at advanced training courses on of hidden control of troops.

Also, one of the department's priorities is the implementation of scientific and scientific-technical support for development measures (solving problems) of hidden control of troops by its components (protection of state secrets, cryptographic protection of information, technical protection of information, countering technical intelligence) and direct development of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the system of hidden control of troops by its components, taking into account the experience of European and world practices.
